RICCARDO LUZIETTI

Riccardo is a highly qualified athletic trainer with a strong academic background, holding a degree in physical education from the University of Urbino.

He further specialized his expertise by earning a Master's degree in Functional Rehabilitation and Team Management of the injured athlete.

Riccardo is also a certified member of the FMS (Functional Movement Screen) System, demonstrating his commitment to utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.

His professional journey includes two years spent in China, where he gained valuable experience working with elite athletes. In 2018, he served as a kinesiologist for the physiotherapy center at the Olympic center of Guangdong province.

Following this, in 2019, he took on the role of athletic trainer, athletic rehabilitator, and head of injury prevention for the Chinese National Team of Half Pipe Ski, showcasing his ability to manage the physical demands of high-performance sports.

Since September 2020, Riccardo has been contributing his skills and knowledge as an athletic trainer at the Young Goose Academy and as a therapist at the Bonvicini Clinic in Bolzano, Italy.

His comprehensive expertise encompasses the development of tailored training programs, the implementation of effective rehabilitation strategies, and the application of proactive injury prevention methods for athletes across a diverse range of sports.

GHEORGHE CHIPER

Gheorghe Chiper is a former figure skater and coach, renowned for his achievements on the ice and his dedication to developing young talent. Born in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, Gheorghe dominated men's figure skating in his country, winning an impressive eight consecutive national titles from 1999 to 2006. His competitive career saw him represent Romania at two Winter Olympic Games, in 2002 where he placed 23rd and in 2006 where he achieved a notable 14th place.

Transitioning to coaching in 2001, even before his retirement from competition in 2006, Gheorghe has established himself as a successful coach in Zurich, Switzerland.

In 2009, he co-founded Skate Academy Switzerland, where he serves as the head coach and director, leading a team of assistant coaches, conditioning staff, and choreographers.

His students have achieved significant success, winning numerous national titles and competing in various international events, including the Junior Grand Prix, Junior World Championships, and the Olympic Games.

Gheorghe's extensive experience as an elite athlete and his proven track record as a coach provide invaluable expertise to the athletes at Athletes Excellence Lab.
